Our role will be to serve as liaisons between Cru's nine ministries in New York City:
Here's Life Inner City - poor communities
Priority Associates - professionals and executives
Campus Ministry - college students
Student Venture - high school students
TransForm Arts - arts community
Christian Embassy - United Nations diplomats
Neighborhood Focus - immigrant communities
Athletes in Action - professional athletes
Street 2 Street - inner-city student athletes
After six years of serving with Here's Life Inner City in New York, we've learned that because each of these ministries is working so tirelessly to reach their specific segment of the city, there have been missed opportunities for collaboration and kingdom impact.
We will work to make those connections-from linking a Campus Ministry student with a mentor through Priority Associates to connecting a CPA to a Here's Life partner church that needs help with finances, And we'll also be working with local churches to mobilize and equip volunteers for further impact throughout the city.
