Matt and Anna Shenk

When we moved to New York City in 2002 for jobs in the corporate sector, we did not know that God was setting into motion a plan to call us into full-time urban ministry. Three years later, we joined the staff of Here’s Life Inner City, the urban ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ and moved to Crown Heights, Brooklyn, where we are active at Greater Restoration Church.

Matt directs Tech Bridges, a program that brings computers, technology and training to churches that run after-school programs and job training programs. Anna works on Community Development, helping churches develop strategies and identify resources for wholistic ministry. It is also our passion to help individuals both inside and outside this great city to grow in their understanding of God’s heart for the poor and to mobilize the church for this work. We hosted our first missions team to Crown Heights in the winter of 2006 and look forward to working other groups in the future. Please visit our site regularly to read our latest newsletters.
